We first saw this pitcher at a restaurant near Chicago, and they had lemon slices in the lower portion. When I returned home I tried to find this carafe, but could not. A few months later we were back in this restaurant and this time I looked at the bottom, and got the vendor's name. They are decorative and easy to handle on the table. We also use one for orange juice, and the strainer is effective on the pulp. They seem to be very durable. We have had them several months now.

Way too plastic

After purchasing glass carafe this one is way too plastic to consider for entertaining or a regular use.
