Cute set, many options, good quality, great value

Very cute set with a ton of options. The loom bands feel like good quality and there is a great assortment of color. They are a little oily and you can see the stains on the sticker sheets that came in the case. I don't know if this is normal but it doesn't appear to have an effect on the bands. Nor does it create an odor. The beads are super cute also with a great assortment of colors, shapes and sizes. There is a headband, hair clips, tassels, clear string, charms, letter beads and a bunch of hooks for backpacks or key chains. Everything was packaged wonderfully, although a couple of beads in the extra bag of items broke during shipping (no big deal, there are hundreds of them!). The cases are sturdy and fairly easy to open/close. The loom band case keeps the bands in their respective spot even when shaking it around. Overall I'm incredibly pleased with this item and can't wait to give it to my daughter for her birthday!

meh... and, what are those pink things that look like slingshots?

I purchased this kit to use as a project for my daughter and me. I suppose it arrived mostly as described. I was surprised that the beads were so pastel - the photo was accurate but I had expected a more modern, brighter color palette. We set up and got started. The instructions came on a single sheet, with illustrations out of focus and intended for people who already were familiar with the process. The rubber bands were too small for my daughter to handle (again, something I should have known...) All of this was ok, though disappointing, until I realized that there was NO LOOM. The seller has mentioned this in a response to a comment, where I seldom look when purchasing. There are no instructions for using one's fingers as a loom. This renders the kit useless for us and since we have opened the bags, we will pass it on to someone with more dexterity and experience, along with an affinity for baby pink and baby blue beads. Three stars because the product is pretty much as advertised, but it is not suitable for use in this family. Better instructions and a loom, please, and... what are those two pink things that look like slingshots?
