Good price entry level robot vacuum
By Meni on Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2020
This is a great basic robotic vacuum finally got it hooked up to the Wi-Fi and programmed pretty decent suction goes over my medium shag area rug with no trouble. Cleans my vinyl wood plank flooring well, the mop feature is really only a damp pad and a very light cleaning but it's useful. The price was right and I purchased it mainly because of that. I was not sure how it would work with my home configuration and furniture. I have a two-story house and I do take it upstairs where there's partial carpet and the vinyl wood flooring as well and it doesn't get stuck and works very well on the carpet which is a low/ medium pile. I like that it'll go under the beds. I'm always surprised what's in the dust cup when it's finished. ###Update10/16/2020 ###UPDATE### Sad to report experiencing problems with the DEEBOT not running as long having a random audible beep while charging and not responsive at times. For sure it runs out of battery within 20 mins of run time and won't respond at times with remote or button on device I have to turn on and off to get it to respond. Manual says random beep I am hearing though out the day is a the roller brush is tangled and needs cleaning, which I did but still beeping...a lot of money to spend for something that functioned less than a year. Quite a ordeal to send in videos and information to Support but still trying!

Look for another brand/company/unit
By Brian on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2020
Another update: A little over a year of owning this, the battery no longer holds a charge. Customer service basically told me I'm out of luck because it's over a year and I'd have to pay a 3rd party company to diagnose and repair it. At this price they should put a disclaimer in the description that it's disposable and the battery will only last between 12-18 months. UPDATE 2 MONTHS LATER: After the most recent app update, the unit is consistently knocked offline. Because is only runs off 2.4ghz and not 5ghz there are a few extra steps to reconnect to the network via the app/phone, but it never sticks. Prior to this issue, it was a very good product, but now it's rendered basically useless as far as the convenience factor is concerned. I didn't think it would do quite as well as it does with 2 dogs shedding like crazy in the house. I have it set to run at 2am because my older male thinks it's the enemy and my younger female just wants to play with it. When I empty the cup/collector in the morning, I'm surprised at how much it hs picked up. I haven't tried the "mop" function yet and probably won't.
