SUPER QUIET Powerful suction for hard surfaces and very low profile rugs

We have one family member who suffers with ASD and sensory problems. Loud sounds are very hard for him so we decided to try this vacuum for our hard floors. Very impressed with the quality and power of the unit and especially how quiet it is. All vacuums have motor noise, but this is the most muted I've ever heard.. you can talk to someone while using it without screaming.Does a fantastic job on our hard floors and if you have very low pile rugs, those can get the surface dirt too. I use the brush attachments for vacuuming pet hair off of a couch and doing baseboards and window sills too.Loved it so much we bought out son one for his apartment too as he has 100% hard floors.If this company made a solid upright for wall-to-wall carpet, I'd be looking at that as well.

Dead after 4 years

So this has been the most satisfying vacuum we ever owned and only used on hardwood floors. One day after I used it almost 4 years since purchase, it died. The light goes on but nothing. I’ve tried to reach out to Severin 4 times for assistance but never heard back. I’m handy enough to take most things apart and put it back together so I tried to see if maybe there was a blown fuse or something. No fuse but a small circuit board. I tried finding one but couldn’t. So after a few weeks of trying and wait for severin, we decided that maybe this was just bad luck. My wife liked the vacuum so much we bought another after doing a bunch of comparisons and in line shopping. Now hoping it doesn’t die again after a few years. These things are supposed to last much longer “ I hope “.
