Does the job for the price. Reading watching all the videos on YouTube and forums. I still went with tk850 in my theater room (dark) with my fixed 120 projector screen. 7.2 with Denon receiver and Xbox that runs all my media. I like to keep the ambient lights a little bit on. This projector does the job. VERY BRIGHT Crispy video motion and clarity. It took little work to get it aligned. The pattern tool is great for alignment and has a ton of setting options for color and motion. This project does not have a horizontal shift, and also the zoom/focus is not on the remote, so you have to do it manually if you are mounting on a ceiling. For the price, it's not that bad. I'm a casual gamer. Mostly XBOX playing games and it looks good. Also, I stream plex and all streaming apps on my Xbox, and works and look great. I tried lg hu70la & benq ht3550 and had to return those two did not fit my taste.

Update: once is whatever , no big deal, but a second projector with the exact same issue is ridiculous, having owned benq in the past I guess maybe this model is just a turd. I would pass on this if I had the chance, now stuck with dead pixel mess.I dont normally review things, however I purchased this a while back and it developed a dead pixel, no big deal, ive had Benq in the past and read around online, its not a hugely common thing, just bad luck. So anyways this review is just to say that the projector is excellent, but the customer service was way better, they sent me out a new one and I sent them back the old one, this kind of thing is how you gain customers for a long time.As for the projector itself, we use it in a light treated basement theater, but we keep the lights on a lot and we use it for gaming etc, so the tk version of this really was the right choice. Its easy to set up, the Cinema setting is close enough to be fine for me, the image is fantastic. All around good times. Probably not great for playing LoL or counterstrike on obviously (the latency is not low).
