Versatile and compact

This is actually my 2nd purchase of this air fryer. We probably had the first one 4 -5 years. Although it seemed to stop functioning way too soon we like this model enough to get another one. Making toast, hard-boiled eggs, baking chicken, baking a pizza (12 inch), and air frying fries, onion rings, and egg rolls are all so easy. Best of all it is compact and takes up not much more room than a toaster oven. There is a model with digital displays but the dials work just fine.

Fire hazard with controls that are WAYYY off.

Cuisinart has always been a reliable brand. This one is VERY poorly designed and as a result is a FIRE HAZARD. When it is in bake mode, the hottest air is POURING out the back, thru a large vent. Convection Ovens use an internal fan, to circulate the air, so the baking is more even, and you end up using LESS ENERGY. On THIS oven, if you switch it to convection, instead of circulating the hot air inside, it blows the hot air, with signficant force, OUT THE SAME BACK VENT! As for settings, I burned the first 4 small pizzas, until I discovered that for 10-12 , minutes @ 400 F, I had to set this oven at 300 F, for under 8 minutes. The controls are WAYY off.
