Wonderful addition to the garage.

I upgraded from a cheaper 16 AWG extension reel to this 14 AWG model. Handles my air compressor without issue.Strong retracting mechanism and easy to stop when you want it. Retracts wonderfully. No more “feeding” the cord back in with cheaper models.I have mine ceiling mounted. Put your lag bolts in and leave about 1/2” from the wall. Use the keyed slot to mount the cord reel. Then use a socket wrench to finish tightening the screws.

Plugs do stay connected.

The plugs do not stay connected and keep falling out. I need to use tape to hold the plug in.I bought this because it was cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for. I would look for another option.
