Tricky to learn but worth it!

I've fallen in love with this toaster oven except for a few short comings. Please read carefully!*the rack that goes to this oven is super flimsy. In addition, there are no built in stops for it so it just flies out. Not fun when you have a hot dish or even toast on it! BE VERY CAREFUL.* the baking tray slides in sans the rack so this means it doesn't have stops either. Again, not fun with hot foods or a hot baking dish on it and it comes flying out. Thank goodness my first lesson was learned with a Fire King casserole lid loaded with Spinach Artichoke dip. Lid didn't break but I'm still finding dried dip in strange places!* DO NOT bake on the lowest rack as suggested or your food will be charcoal.*this unit does not have an off button! The display will flash for about 20-30 min before it finally shuts off on its own. If you don't have easy access to pull the plug or, in my case arthritis and carpal tunnel, do not buy this unit. There are days it hurts to even open the bread so unplugging and plugging this unit back in are a pain. I have a GFI because mine is on the counter and near the sink and that adds to the nuisance.ITS NOT ALL BAD!* this baby can cook! I love the induction option.*the pre-heat with auto shut off? Perfection! I can forget I have turned on the oven sometimes. The beeping was a surprise but that auto shut off is awesome.*this is a super sharp looking unit. I have have had so many complements on it.Have fun and remember that there is a learning curve with this unit, especially the baking part!

It quit after 1 week of use!

I did my research and decided on this air fryer toaster oven. I liked it, ok. The tray does not stop and slides out every time you remove food from it. It gets really hot outside and if you are not using an oven mitt, it will burn you when you grab the handle. It has that ANNOYING pre heat feature. You have to hit start twice to by pass the preheat. If you miss the beeping to alert you to preheat cycle over...add your food, it stops cooking and you have to start over again! WHO thought this was a GOOD idea??MOST IMPORTANT....IT DIED AFTER JUST 1 WEEK OF USE! Cooked toast for breakfast - 3 hours later after it just sitting there , it threw an E7 error code. Which means it is plugged into the wrong type of outlet - usually a 220v. I don't have any 220v plugs in my kitchen. I tried unplugging, tried 8 different plugs in 4 different rooms and still same problem. I called the company. They are 3 hours behind me so had to wait till noon my time. They were very nice and I did not wait on hold long. The lady was well spoken. She didn't offer to trouble shoot, She immediately offered me a replacement. She said this code means the item is defective!! I should have asked what the policy was - do I have to pay shipping to them, but I didn't. I refused a replacement as I DO NOT trust this brand. I returned it and bought an Caphalon.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND OR THIS MODEL TO ANYONE!
