Simple Deluxe Adjustable Tilt Fans

I feel like these are packaged in a pair because one is defective lol One of my fans works well, while the other continuously emits an odor of motor oil. I had to discontinue its use after a week because the odor wasn't going away and it was nausiating to have my room filled with that smell all the time. The other of the pair works perfectly. If they both sucked, I would have returned them, but what are you supposed to do when just one sucks? I think they marketed the set on purpose to get rid of their defective products without leaving a customer completely unhappy. I got two for the price of their single-packaged higher quality model, so it's an illusion of a good deal.
