Didn't work properly after a few months with update

It worked fine for a few months, then started to make a growling noise and what appeared to be grease was coming out of the blade area. The company said they would replace it, however, they sent me a CORDED one, not even their brand (CRUX) and said they didn't have any of the cordless to send me. ?? Would not recommend. EDIT and update SO, they sent me a corded immersion blender, right? I said i don't want it, I'll return it to you and take the refund. They replied with, CUT THE CORD and send a picture before we issue a refund. This is a brand new appliance that they want me to destroy. Will not take it back. Also, the unit they sent me was half the price of the one I bought. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
