Flavor and Heat!
By Salt Enthusiast on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2025
Amazon's algorithm was cooking... I was looking for a replacement for another, less available hot sauce that I like (reaper/flavorful savory component/sweet component), when I was given a 50% off flash sale on this sauce... so, I bought two bottles of it. I don't regret it. This is an umami bomb with black garlic, and a little goes a long way in terms of both flavor and heat. It's intense, tends to make the face red and sweaty, but doesn't linger long. I like to put a few dashes of it in a bowl of noodles, but beware, this is a very thin sauce with no dripper insert. It's not quite as sweet as the sauce I was replacing, and there is a little maple as advertised, but the vinegar gives a sweet/sour effect.

Tried Four Flavors and Overall Pretty Good But Not Great
By Hank2000 on Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2023
Pineapple Habanero -- I like this hot sauce. The combination of pineapple with habanero is very lovely. Great flavor but a mild heat level. I would use so much on my food, so the bottle went pretty fast. They don't use emulsifiers like xantham gum, so the consistency reminds me of a homemade hot sauce. Always shake the bottle with Bravado hot sauces before using. Although I like it, I will not buy it again because the heat level is too mild for my taste. Creamy Herb and Jalapeno Very little heat, and the dominant flavor was herbs and vinegar. Very little heat and very little jalapeno pepper flavor. I would not buy it again. The consistency was also too thick and grainy for me. Aka Miso Ghost Reaper Very, very hot. I use this very sparingly. I get miso flavor up front, and then I'm blown away by the ghost pepper heat. I enjoy this hot sauce; it would be better if there weren't so much heat. I really like the miso in the hot sauce. I would buy this one again. Bravado needs to get a better bottle so it's easier to pour. Usually, hot sauces sold in these bottles have a little plastic at the top with a smaller hole to control the amount of hot sauce that is poured, but I don't think Bravado uses the plastic pieces because of the consistency of their hot sauce.
