Gotham Steel 10-Piece Stackable Pots & Pans Set

The packet says it is dishwasher safe, but that hand washing was recommended. I wanted these to last, so I have ONLY hand washed them. Here is the outcome after having them since Christmas. Pros: the non-stick is truly non-stick. You can make the stickiest, messiest, dirty thing in these and it'll be fine. Cons: the TV commercials show these pans can handle the use of a hand held mixer. I was skeptical and haven't done it. Last night I was in a rush and the potatoes needed mashed so I went ahead and mashed them in the pot. The first pic is the outcome of doing that ONCE. Needless to say I am very disappointed. I NEVER mix things in a pot, but the commercial said its scratch resistant and will withstand such treatment. Next, the bottoms of all the pots and pans are loosing the copper color on the edges and there's staining on the silver rings. Lastly, the flat lids that come with these... on the inside of the lid food and grease will get trapped and you have to really dig in there to get it out. I do wash the lids in the dishwasher when food gets stuck in there because sponges and scubbies just do not get in those crevices. Needless to say, the next time I buy pots and pans it will not be this brand.
