Best detangling brush for 4c hair

I’ve always finger detangled since being natural for almost 10 years now. I have never used a brush as all the deranging brushes felt like my hair was ripping out. However, my hair was never fully detangled and I felt stagnant in my hair journey in addition to breakage with my low density 4c hair. I decided to start fresh and reset my hair routine and learning how to use a detangling brush. After lots of research on brushing 4c hair and YouTube videos, this seemed like the best detangler. After using it once, for the first time in forever I can run my fingers through my hair without encountering a knot or tangle. It feels GREAT. Also less breakage compared to previous wash days just finger detangling. For anyone with low porosity and low density 4c hair, I highly recommend this detangling brush and also researching on YouTube how to properly detangle your hair using the Denman 38 paddle brush. It will help retain length on your hair are journey!

Love the brush, but the packaging was terrible!

I would have given a rating of 5 for the brush, but I could not even believe the packaging, that's what I gave overall rating of 3. Don't know if it was Amazon, or the seller, or the post office. Came in a plastic bag so could have been crushed by post office, but I was disappointed that there was clear plastic tape all over it as if someone returned it, and the seller put it all back together with plastic packing tape. What a mess! See pictures. I decided to keep it because I love the brush! Glides though hair effortlessly... a great detangler. I definitely recommend it. I just thought I paid too much money to get what may have been a previously returned brush, or it just had terrible patched up packaging. Shame on Amazon or the seller.
