Good Quality for a Good Price

I have asthma and I was having problems breathing last summer because of the forest fires in Colorado. We live in Colorado, but we also got smoke from New Mexico and Utah. Even people without asthma were suffering. I did a lot of research on air purifiers and found the PurO2xygen air purifier fit our budget. I was pleased with their quality and their performance. The purifier has a nice display at the top that shows a colored circle and a numerical readout that corresponds to the air quality. We purchase two units and found it reduced the smoke and particulate pollution from a red (worst air purity reading) to a yellow, to a blue and finally to a green (best air purity reading) in a very reasonable time. We noticed how quickly it worked when we accidently burned something in our oven and triggered the fire alarm. The purifiers had already indicated a change in the air before we could smell it and before the fire alarm was triggered. Again the purifiers brought the air quality back to a level that was breathable in a surprisingly short period of time. The purifier have the capacity to move air quickly through them using the fans top speed. At night we use the sleep mode, which is the slowest and quietest speed and the led display is blacked out. This is perfect for sleeping. In summary, I am very pleased with their performance and certainly have no qualms about recommending them to others.

Own 3, only 1 actually works as advertised.

I own 3. One is VERY loud. One is nearly silent. I purchased one at $299 — NOT worth it. I purchased one at $120 — worth it at the time. I purchased one at $99 — worth it for sure. Wouldn’t pay more than $99 for this product. Only 1 of the 3 purifiers works as advertised. It definitely works by my kitchen but not sure about the rest of the house. I can’t tell a difference. That’s why I own 3. The remote is nice. The filters are hard to clean, so I buy new ones every month. They have a helpful customer service chat feature via Facebook.
