Nice little tongs. The fork portion is good for getting into the waffle pattern and grabbing them to pull out of the waffle maker. The plastic is hard, not soft silicone, and are very easy to clean. Usually a quick rinse is all it takes.

Something looking like plastic is peeling off one of the tines. Makes me wonder if it's really silicone.
