Sumersault Ivory Blanket

My 5 month old likes this wearable blanket more than any other. We live in a Florida so it’s not too thick or too thin.

Literally so cute and super soft. Not too heavy/warm either so it’s perfect for warmer nights :)

I bought a Halo cotton sleepsack at the same time and I prefer this one! The zipper is better quality, the fabric is softer, and overall is a much better value for money.

These sleep sacks are great to adding an extra layer of warmth for your baby to sleep with without having to lay a lose blanket on them in the crib. I have a fleece sleep sack for colder months and this one for warmer months (although in all honesty I use both anytime during the year as it is nice to have one handy when the other is being washed). Material: This item is a cotton jersey soft to the touch (similar to a t-shirt material) with a nice nighttime printed pattern on it. It is not that thick so don’t expect that much added warmth’ be sure to have your little one in a proper footie PJ (with sleeves) for warmth and the room temperature stable. Function: There is a full length zipper that runs from the top neck all the way down to inches from the bottom. It closes from the bottom up which means you’ll lay your baby down on top of the opened sack, then zip from top to bottom. This is a feature that allows you to check or change the diaper without removing the sack. I personally have not had to do this and would prefer the zipper to be closed from bottom up as sometimes it’s hard to get the zipper in its place while you’re fidgeting with it in the dark with an almost asleep child. But I haven’t seen a sleep sack without a top down zipper. Sewn well. All the seams are turned well and covered on the inside; no rough edges to cause discomfort. So if you’re looking for a lightweight not as warm sleep sack, this will work. If you’re looking for a thicker and warmer option, keep looking. Thanks for reading this review. ♡Sumersault-Baby's Cotton Wearable Blanket♡ The very Beautiful pink with soft grey clouds, white hearts and the words "little sleepy head" stitched in the same soft grey as the clouds makes this wearable blanket for babies the most adorable blanket. The cotton fabric is very soft against the skin with no itchy feeling or irritation. The size Medium, 6-11 months, 14-22 pounds seems to be appropriately sized and aged. My baby girl wore this wearable blanket over her night time clothes as her top blanket replacement. No more loose blankets that I have to worry about her getting tangled up in or pulling it over her face. This keeps her warm, comfortable and content throughout the night. I really like that the zippers are inverted because it makes it easier to change her diaper. The zipper is the full length of the blanket and covered with the same soft fabric as the blanket. I love these features and find them very valuable. Following the care instructions, on the neck tags, I washed in cold water and chose to lay it flat to air dry. Afterward it still looks as beautiful and feels even softer the more its washed. I highly recommend these wearable blanket products for their comfort and design. Also for the fact that this does better than a loose blanket and I feel it's a much safer alternative.

Cotton Wearable Blanket So weight wise, it’s not going to be the sleep sack that keeps baby warm in the colder winter months. However, the sack itself is a nice, soft, and lightweight. It zips the right way to keep the zipper at baby’s feet overnight rather than at her chin. BUT! The fabric flap that covers the zipper at the top could be a little bigger, just to ensure that there is no scratching of those sweet double chins in the night. Pattern is gender neutral which is also nice for some parents. It’s a little big on the 19lbs, 5mo old, but she’ll grow into it no doubt. Highly Recommend! 5 Stars! Newborns have a few things in common and among them is the desire to stay warm. This wearable blanket scores well on the cuteness factor, with a small deer on the outside. The manufacturer makes these with other animals too, but I have the one with the deer. There is no need to worry about your baby’s reaction to the ink- the design is on the outside, so the skin won’t touch it. Made from cotton, this wearable blanket is soft and babies will love the additional warmth it provides. One thing to keep in mind is that this is sleeveless, so it isn’t going to keep the arms warm. It’s meant to give babies a little more freedom of movement. You could still attempt to place their arms inside, but there is space for them to poke their arms back out. With its full- length zipper, this wearable blanket is easy to take off and put back on. There are no legs, so a baby will easily lift right out and back in. A smart feature of the design is that the dipper is inverted. This keeps it away from a baby’s face, for added safety. Babies get fussy when they are cold. Sumersault Deer Ivory 100% Cotton Wearable Blanket eliminates this problem, providing the extra warmth a baby needs to get through the night. This sleep sack is very cute and seems to be made well, but when I took it out of its packaging I immediately thought it looked huge in comparison to the other sleep sacks I have been using for my kiddo. I took a photo for reference of my son laying next to his Carter’s 6-9 month sized sleep sack next to this one. I realize that this sleep sack is labeled 6-12 months so I’d expect it to be a little bigger, just seems like he’d be swimming in it right now at 6 months. I’m sure it’ll fit him just fine in a couple months. I like that the zipper starts at the bottom of the sleep sack as opposed to the top making for easy diaper changes. The only thing that would make it better in my opinion would be a two way zipper! The color is more of a bluish gray, color seems to be a bit off in my photos. Overall, very cute fox design and nice quality.

Given as a gift to a new mom to be who is not finding out ahead of time the gender of her baby. The elephant pattern is really cute. While it looks more like a boy outfit, it could be used for either a boy or a girl. It’s soft and well made and she seemed to like it a lot. Since I gave it away, I don’t know how it does when it’s washed but looks like it would not have any issues with laundering. I wasn’t thrilled with the way it was packaged by the manufacturer (clear thick plastic with insert with it) so I removed the plastic before wrapping it but included the insert, which described the item.
