Great for pancakes.

I'm pleased with this purchase. I've made pancakes on it weekly for my granddaughter. I didn't want an expensive pan...nor a cheap one that would warp. This is perfect. Easy to clean. Heat distribution is perfect. We love making pancakes together.

Timer failed; edges undercooked

Bought exactly one year ago and the timer not working properly. Set for 4 minutes as usual and time stops after 2 minutes. Just wrote to Presto and we will see what happens. A longer term problem is the edges don't cook evenly; no matter how long I leave the waffle in, the edges don't turn brown. I will say cleaning is effortless and the waffle comes out light and tasty (edges notwithstanding).
