This is a great knife, but be careful it is very sharp

I wanted to see if it was as good for cutting tomatoes and onions as it was reported. I keep all my knifes razor sharp and this is one sharp knife. My wife sliced her finger using it because it went through the tomato so quickly. It was great for slicing Vidalia onions. Even though I like a thin 6" Wusthof for onions, this will be my go to knife in the future.

Inferior "gourmet" knife sold as a "classic". Twice

My title says it all. Called Wusthof directly and they apologized but beware of what you're receiving. This Gourmet versions sells for less than half of he Classic version that I orderred and paid for.
