An Excellent and versatile Pasta/Noodle/Dumpling maker
By Karthik K on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2020
I really wanted to get into making fresh pasta, the manual approach to making it isn’t very convenient and quick. I bought this product with that in mind. Pros: 1) The product takes very little kitchen real estate and it’s easy to store. Plus the molds can be stored in the little drawer that comes in the unit. 2) The pasta options are numerous, so you can have different kind of pasta, noodles and dumplings. Very versatile. 3) The mixing unit does a good job of incorporating the ingredients. 4) The clean-up is super easy, the device might look daunting at first but is super easy. Not really cons: 1) Some of the pasta molds are plastic, metal molds are traditional and give better texture. Surprisingly though the pasta that comes does have good texture. 2) The unit is all plastic, some brushed stainless steel accents would be nice. Verdict: An Excellent and versatile Pasta/Noodle/Dumpling maker, that is a good value add if you cook pasta dishes regularly.

What a disaster! Short cut took too long!
By CMH on Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2020
I'm a licensed home economics teacher and I LOVE kitchen gadgets. I have a very good sense of how they should work and I will try them all. Well this one was the ultimate disaster! The selling point for this item is how little time you need to make homemade fresh pasta. It took almost 2 hours to finish a single batch of dough. The extruder only extruded 1/3 of the dough by itself the rest had to be hand fed through the extruder. Plugging and unplugging each time you reach into the machine. I haven't tasted the pasta yet, that is for tonight's dinner, but no matter how good it may be, there is no time saving machine that needs 2 extra hours to use all the dough as written in the owner's manual. I big mistake and it's going back! Immediately! I don't know if there is a better pasta extruder on the market but I'm going back to the kitchen aid attachment pasta maker or the hand cranked one Nonna used.
