Buy a Breville
By Katherine Hall on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2025
The chute is incredibly small which means you are chopping everything super small. The part the juice and pulp come out of broke while juicing. Just snapped halfway through juicing due to the fact that the pulp disposal hole is smaller than your pinky and clogged. Ok so buy a new one.The part is $12 but the slowest shipping was 8.99 effectively doubling the cost!!! And it wont be here for weeks! Guess I could have paid $53 in shipping to get here sooner. Wish I'd never sold my Breville. This thing is cheap plast crap.

The price is very good, I started juicing with this juicer Sept. 3rd and use it daily. Have it for 1 month 1/2. It is quiet, not much pulp remainder. Wash parts immeddiately after juicing. Clean parts when square juice container with measurements written on it gets 1/3 full. After cleaning the parts continue your juicing. If you wait till 1/2 or 3/4 full juice container then the part that extracts the pulp can get jammed, cannot take apart causing a big problem. Don't over pack the place where you put fruit or veggie. Be gentle in pushing produce through the chute. I had a similar juicer a year ago which lasted for a couple of years. I bought it at Bed and Bath. It served me very well. Leafy greens go in easily, so do beets, carrots. Just be gentle, clean well after using. Monthly soak overnight in warm soap water. It should last for years. Great healthy juice. Easy to stay healthy. Fun to try new recipes. Enjoy.
Cheap and Best!

Don't worry about the one star reviews! Be gentle with this one and it will last long! I am happy as this is the best way to juice everyday. It is silent and easy to clean and saves a lot of money compared to other expensive ones. The pulp that comes out of the juicer is very dry which means I am getting maximum yield and it is cold extracted which means more nutrients! Comes with one extra stainer and cleaning brush. I use it everyday for ABC and green juice. Go for it!

Great intro to masticating juicing

I'm sure like everybody, my introduction to juicing was through a centrifuge juicer, economically priced (as to not pay too much for something that I wasnt quite sure if I would actually utilize). I started off with a Jack LaLanne juicer which was a complete pain to put together and take apart and clean, graduated up to a Hamilton Beach wide mouth centrifuge juicer (which was super fast and easy at the expense of the size). And honestly I was super content. I went from juicing off and on depending on my mood and season to getting serious about juicing daily for nutrition. The machine held up, and I really didn't have too much complaints. But the more research I did in regards to nutrition and trying to maximize the act in which I was doing the more I started comprehending the missed opportunities in the process because of the machine. So just like the centrifuge juicer I did a ton of research and found that the Omega 3k really does hold up for being a low mid level masticating machine. And while it felt like I was throwing the dice stepping away from the familiar centrifuge, everything about this machine is better. It's smaller more compact, it's super easy to break down, amazingly simple to clean, and all the parts are very well put together. The low RPMs absolutely squeezes the most juice out of the item whether it be a fruit or it be a hard vegetable or root. You can absolutely taste the difference while it actually minimizes any type of molecular disruption of the nutrient or adding oxygen into the Juice. The only complaints I can come up with would be things that were obviously present because of the price point of the machine and the manufacturing of it such as having maybe more teeth on the grinder or a thicker plastic juicing housing but like I said that's mainly because my model is on the lower spectrum which of course the higher levels have that upgraded. I've had absolutely no problems with it and I've been so impressed by it that no less than two other people went out and got the exact same model themselves. So in conclusion, whether or not you are passively juicing or if you are bulk juicing daily, this machine is absolutely a next level above a centrifuge style juicer.
Quick setup, great tasting juice and easy to clean

I love this product it was great for my jumpstart back into juicing. I clean and cut produce into thin sizes to easily fit in the chute, the reverse button is great for clearing any backlog. I put the pulp in freezer bags, flatten them and remove the air and break them into chunks to use as flavored ice for smoothies to minimize waste. I give this user-friendly machine a 10.
Delicate Drum/Feed Chute

I used this juicer for two years and mostly liked it. Cleaning was always a pain, especially the juice screen, but I learned to turn that into somewhat of a mindfulness practice to avoid the daily frustration. The drum and feed chute broke on me multiple times while juicing carrots. The first time this happened, I didn't have any trouble purchasing a new drum and feed chute and was happy. Shipping was free and the part was $12. The second time it broke, I had an awful time getting a replacement. The drum and feed chute was out of stock on the Omega website so I signed up to get an email notification when it was available. The part wasn't available for months, then when it would become available again it would sell out within minutes. I had an awful time with customer service trying to get this replacement part. I ended up ordering a new juicer in November since I was having so much trouble getting a new drum and feed chute, which I was unable to purchase through the Omega website till earlier this month because it was out of stock for so long. I ended up having to pay $7.23 in shipping for it, which I was frustrated by because the part itself is only $12. Between the poor customer service, difficulty getting a replacement part, and my new Omega Juicer J8006HDC not juicing softer produce well, I'm turned off by the Omega brand.
Use it every single day, makes excellent juice

Easy to use, it can cold press anything! Beets, carrots, spinach, kale, ginger... anything. And makes a clean juice, for the most part. They send 2 sieve things, strainers, I have learned to change halfway through filling up the juice container. Otherwise you might start to get a little pulp, and really just a little. Easy fix, not a problem. It gets a lot of juice out of everything. Honestly for the price, I dont think there's a better juicer. I used to throw whole carrots in, and it was taking em for a while, but one it busted the clear part right off. Now I slice & quarter my carrots before juicing. Again, I was juicing every day, it withstood a lot before it popped off. But with hearty produce, make it smaller and easier for the juicer to take in and get past the auger. I put it through my dishwasher every single day, hold up great. Love this juicer, can't recommend enough!!

Good value

I'm overall pleased with this juicer, with some minor caveats. I think it's a good value, but this is my first and only juicer/juicing experience, so my perspective is limited. A friend (an experienced juicer, who has a high end double-auger juicer from a different brand), pointed me to this model. We did a juice fast for one week where I was juicing up to 15 times per day (and losing on average about 1 pound per day of body fat). In this circumstance, the machine pays for itself in a couple days, compared to buying cold-pressed juice from the store. Since then, I juice 1-3x per day. It works well and cleanup is pretty simple, although if you don't clean it promptly, juices that remain will evaporate and leave a hard film on some of the parts, which is difficult to clean off, especially the plastic "grates" where the juice exits. Not a big deal in my book. It would have been nice if the locking lever was positioned elsewhere (not right on top), so when you're dumping chopped up stuff into the chute (or when double-juicing the fruit/veggie "poop"), some pieces can fall into the latch area, so I have to be careful to clean the top before releasing the latch so fruit/veggie pieces don't fall and get pushed into the main body when pushing the lever down. That's really my only complaint. This unit has been solid and continues to perform well since I began using it 2-3 months ago on a nearly daily basis. Plus, my kids get a kick out of using it and always squeel in laughter when the machine poops, lol! Pics are a blend of mostly carrot and orange with a little bit of tomato, cucumber, spinach, and beet.
