I bought this for my 2 year old grandson who a year later is still playing with it. My daughter and son-in-law put it together so I can't comment on the ease of instructions... but there are a LOT of pieces. If you're up for the task it is a great plaything for a little one. It has a make believe sink, stove, microwave, fridge, and on the other side is set up as a check-out counter with credit card swipe, etc.

This is nice but assembly is not

I purchased for my 3 year old and he loves it and it is nice once assembled but assembly does need two people on some of the steps. Instructions as just pictures so a few times I got turned around and had to unassemble and reassemble the correct way which is time consuming and frustrating. It did take me almost 4 hours to assemble which I did stop because I became frustrated. I did put two background pictures in upside down and said left it because it would be too difficult to correct. The top of the stove came damaged in a spot where something must have pushed down on it before it was placed in the box but was still usable and my child really wanted to play with the kitchen so I decided not to send back. I gave three stars because of the damage to the stove and the headache of assembly and following the instructions.
