We cut a hole in the bottom shelf for cords to go through. Looks good! The wood seems kind of soft, it’s not particularly hard. I could see someone replacing the boards with their own lumber.

Easy to put together. Metal frame was broken in the corner and needed to get welded back together. Cute shelf, but not confident it will hold much weight. Good for small decorations.
