And even at that, the pillow flattens out to about any inch on support with a my 7 year old daughter's 5lb head on it... A CHILDS head flattens this pillow like a pancake. Lol I returned this the same day it came in. Wouldn't sleep on this myself if it were given to me for free. Ordered a couple of others from this brand though and the good news is that the pics are pretty accurate so just find one that is noticeably thicker than this one and it's really comfy foam they use, just way on the softer/no support having side. The 'luxury over stuffed one with the 2" gusset is actually halfway doable for a grown-ups head like mine but still not ideal for me having broad shoulders and being a side sleeper. This brand foam is just not an option for me as an every night solution unfortunately. The more expensive one I mentioned is about 30% taller,, and the foam itself has the same latex rubbery type of feel and quality to it, but is also noticeably denser. If this is 2.5lb density then the "jumbo" one I'm speaking of (domt know why it's called jumbo overstuffed wither btw because it fits a standard queen pillowcase with room to spare still just like this one hut not nearly as bad) Perfect if I were anything other than a side sleeper, and perfect for a child who's a side sleeper as well like my daughter. 👍... NOT this one though. Lol this one isn't good for anybody neck in the morning no matter how tiny your head is unless you're a stomach sleeper, and they realllly need to re-do this entire posting for their entire line of pillows to provide this information for the price these things are selling for even qhen they're half off it's still entirely too much money. Go look at the serta cooling comfort pillow and just buy that over anything from this brand if its going to cost a penny over $39 in my honest opinion. Hate to say that because I love the softness and coolness of these but anybody who owns one of these will not argue with me on the price point of these, Period. 👎
