Ninja SS351 Foodi Blender & Processor System, S&D

We have a wide range of kitchen appliances and electronics around the house and all of our products look like they are brand new, even with our heavy usage. This blender was fantastic. It blends really well and had a wide variety of settings that do a great job for their specific use. We loved this blender, until it started to fall apart, literally. The base unit completely fell out the bottom about 5 months into owning this unit. It appears like all of the cheap plastic tabs used to hold the base and the casing together just broke off. Additionally, the tab that triggers the senor to know when the picture has been properly attached before powering on the unit broke as well, which causes the unit not to work. Sad for such a nice product, and for being one of the more expensive models, that it would simply start breaking. If only they used metal instead of cheap plastic to hold something that weighs this much together. Honestly, if I were to shop for another blender it will most likely be a Vitamix. I have no need to toy around with cheaply made junk.
