Awesome product! I placed this in my apartment about a year ago and haven't had any trouble with it since. Took a few tries to get it placed correctly, but with curtains hanging from it and being pulled/moved everyday I have not had any issues with the rod moving or falling. I have not tried to take it down yet so I do not know if it will leave any marks/residue, but I don't believe it will. It it very nondescript with a mat black finish.

No tension after 3 months of use

The product worked fine, at first. Set enough tension to hold up the bar & a damp towel. 3 months later, I tried to hang my damp towel & the bar fell. When attempting to rehang it, I noticed the sleeve that holds the tension adjustment threads will no longer grip the threading.
