Bought this to use for hotpot. It heats up quickly as I have used it for other cooking uses. It heats up exactly as the temperature is set on the lcd display. There are multiple functions like soup and boil. Don’t have to wait long for oil to heat up if you are frying things.

Even if the instructions were not printed so small that I can't read them, this would not work. It appears to be the sorriest piece of kitchen crap that I have ever bought. Of course they do have a phone number for customer service, but their hours of operation are over. Apparently they think that people only cook during office hours of the Eastern time zone. I can turn this on, but it will only stay on for about a minute, then turn itself off again. I cannot change the cooking temperature, or cooking time. In other words, every penny I spent for this has been wasted. Please save all of the aggravation and buy anything but this.
