Small, Humble, and MIGHTY

Major upgrade over our old 150watt hand/stand mixer, but at a remarkably reasonably similar price point!I mix most things by hand but needed a machine that did two things well enough to pass my OCD checklist, without breaking hubby's wallet: meringue and dough; This little firecracker does both without complaining or hesitating. I will help the bowl along on particularly dry recipes, but that's just to reduce long term wear and tear on the motor. We made a wonderful sandwich bread last night, went so smoothly, the bread was perfect on the first try.Love that it's lightweight enough for my 5 year old to use with help, BUT it has suction cups on the bottom to prevent it from walking away across the countertop! Legitimately a decent stand mixer for those of us who do not need a commercial setup!Seriously though, look how cute it is!!

Smaller than I thought. I have only used it once as of yet, so we are still getting use to each other. I used the liquid part of the recipe in the bowl with the soaking cereal. The bowl wasn't turning to well. I could move the level easily. I thought that helped with the mixing. The motor sounded like it was working hard so I took the bowl off and tested the liquid to make sure all was combined. To my surprise half the cereal did not get incorporated. At first I thought it might have been the sugar and realized I forgot the sugar. I will try this again with something else to seeing I get the same effect from it. I am not giving up hope. Yet. One possitive the suction cups work great! A friend come to visit and was going to help. The situation was comical.
