Truly a must have cooking appliance!
By Mr.B!007 on Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2021
I have used combi ovens as a cook for years. While this isn't an oven with all the versatility that my 35 grand professional oven has, for the home cook this item is fantastic! Easy to use, the options to steam only, grill, convect, and combi are easy to get to and set. The oven gets to temperature and gets to withing a degree or two of set temperature. Haven't used it on everything I would like to, but my chicken, pork, ribs, prime rib steak, pizza, have all been nicely cooked. Even made great fries and tater tots with the convection, or as is often marketed now, the "air fryer". My only complaint is that the water for steam doesn't connect to an outside source. But, seriously, that is my professional side coming out and this isn't a 35 thousand dollar oven. This being said, the 1 litre water supply does last about 2.5 hours when 3 is advertised. But the oven beeps to alert to low water, and it is easy to pause the cooking and refill the reservoir. The quality of this oven is evident from the moment you remove it from the box. The heat stays inside the oven and it does stay very cool on the outside of the oven. Going to try cooking a 12 pound turkey in it and really want to see how a 18 to 20 pounder will do. The only negative I might through at it for real, is I would wish for a built in temperature probe for the food so the oven would cook to a temperature instead of setting for a time only, and having to use an external probe. Other than that, I am happy with this oven and so glad I purchased it.

**Buyer Aware** POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE (no reply) and Product Issues
By Samuel on Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2020
Really wanted to love this oven, but couldn't. A steam oven is one of the best ways to reheat and cook things, BUT my experience using this product has been less than desirable. This product itself is worth maybe around 2-3 stars, due to a few issues that I've identified while using it. What brought my review to 1 star, however, is the poor customer service that I've experienced. I sent an email the day after using this product, but I haven't received a response. It's been about ~30 days. If I don't receive a response soon, I'm planning on returning this item. :( *** Also a note that the cooking book that the item description states it will come with did not actually come. Three main problems that I've experienced with the past 2 weeks of use: (1) This oven is not very user friendly. For one, the door is extremely difficult to open. If you just pull on the handle to open it, the entire oven slides forward. The only way to open it is to place one hand on the oven to keep it steady while pulling very hard on the handle. For my family, most of us struggled with opening it and for the first week I always had to be the one to help open it. For two, the menu screen is extremely not design intuitive. It is quite difficult to understand exactly how to set the cooking settings, and if you make a mistake, you can't go back to fix it — you have to restart the whole process. The touch sensitivity of the buttons are also a little annoying — sometimes we will press something several times for it to register, only to have it register an incorrect setting, causing us to have to restart. (2) If you use the Combi Steam function and/or Convection Oven mode (even for a short period of time), the oven sensor will become faulty and does not properly release steam when trying to use the Steam function afterwards. I have had to unplug and replug the oven to fix this issue, which is quite inconvenient, and clearly a design flaw. (3) This is somewhat of a minor issue compared to the other two, but after using the oven, the bottom becomes filled with a puddle of water that you have to clean up after each use. This is more of an inconvenience issue than a functional issue but still definitely lowers the overall user experience. tldr; — Overall, for what it's worth, this oven gets the job done, but has various functional design flaws that make the experience not as enjoyable as it should be. Also highly disappointed with the customer service! I optimistically thought that the customer service would be good due to several of the 5 star ratings, but my own experience did not reflect that of the reviews.

I normally don’t write reviews but decided I may be able to help a few people who are contemplating a steam oven. This is a little long but has some good information. I do not have room for a full size life Wolf or Viking so had to limit my choices to countertop. There are really not a lot of choices and Amazon seems to have most of them. A little background so you can judge my review for yourself- I am very technology savvy and have all of the latest kitchen gadgets. I read all of the manuals and fully understand how to operate all of my purchases. That being said, here is my honest review of the oven. First of all, the first oven I received was damaged. The delivery people must have dropped it so he corner of the oven was bent. I packed it all up and Amazon was great about getting me a replacement a few days later. Oven 2 arrived in great condition. The size dimensions are very accurate and it is a pretty big oven and solidly built. I have previously tried the Tovala Gen 2 oven, but the scanner kept failing and it was pretty small. This oven will definitely make a large amount of food. I only have about 1 inch of space above the oven but it is not a problem. It only gets warm to the touch on top, and steam vents out the front as they describe. I have tried most of the settings and all seem to work as advertised. The “grill" setting seems to be a” bake" setting like you would see in any other oven. I made a whole 4 lb roast chicken in about 50 minutes using the “Combi” setting and it worked very well. I steamed eggs at the basic setting for 30 minutes and came out with perfect hard boiled eggs. I proofed my bread, and then baked using the Combi setting and got a very nice crust. You may have to experiment with your own programs as there was a little water left in the bottom on the bread cycle, so I just added a few minutes on the convection cycle which evaporated the water and dried everything up. It will definitely take a little bit of experimenting with times and temps because if you put your item in a cold oven as a lot of manufacturers recommend when using the steam/combi function, then the oven may not reach the requested temperature by the time the item is cooked— Example- I put a room temperature chicken in the oven and selected the automatic program which I believe was 390 degrees for 45 minutes. I used a meater wireless thermometer which gave me tempurture in the oven as well as the chicken. By the time the chicken was 160 degrees internal temperature, the oven was only 390 degrees for a short while. It did not affect the texture but it was defiantly not cooking at 390 degrees the entire time. A solution may be to preheat the oven when cooking large items, but I don’t think it is necessary for smaller things like chicken breasts. Be advised, it does lose a lot of heat quickly- so open and close the door as fast as you can. Cook-wise, I was impressed with all of the items I cooked. The chicken and trip tip roast were moist and had a nice browned top. Final thoughts- Pros:This is a solid oven. It is well built and feels like it will last a long time. Cleanup of the oven and trays is easy. It is large, The steam only vents from the front of the oven and it is not that hot. It cooks quickly it is pretty quiet. Cons: The user interface could be easier but if you read the manual you will be fine. It is lacking a broil function, so it you want more of a browned crust you would have to select the grill function and raise the tray level. This was not an issue with my chicken or tri tip. The lower heat coil is covered- you cant even see it, so toast takes a long time and 23 minutes for a bagel is sad. If you eat a lot of toast, keep your toaster or small oven. This oven does not have a rotisserie which a few others have, or a built in temperature probe, but if you can look past these minor flaws I think you will be very happy with this oven.
Concerned-no more!

I am updating the below review to 5 stars with rave reviews of the JU-3200. Amazon handled the return and replacement flawlessly and the replacement arrived in perfect working order. I also contacted FBlumlein directly to express my concerns. They were fabulous at promptly responding to not only my concerns but offering excellent customer service following up on the replacement from Amazon and helping me to be successful using their steam oven. They are developing recipes and making them available which is very helpful. I would highly recommend this oven whether you buy it from Amazon or FBlumlein directly. Either way FBlumlein will be there to support any concerns or questions you may have. This is just the healthiest & best cooking method available and glad it is albeit still a little high, at a price point to make it available to homeowners. It is solid, well made and a very attractive appliance enhancing any kitchen. We love this oven, period. Want to love this oven but have to return after 3rd use due to steam function failing. Water began seeping into the oven cavity from behind the back panel where the convection fan is housed. I am requesting a replacement because we are that impressed with the quality, looks and features of this oven. We are hoping this one just happened to be a lemon. There are lots of reviews by other owners who are really happy with the JU-3200 oven and have been using with no problems for an extended length of time. For this kind of money that should be expected! It is a huge hassle to return an item of this size but Amazon was excellent at standing behind the product and making this as painless as possible, so hopefully this return/replacement will all work out and we can join the many other positive reviewers. I will be happy to give a 5 star if and when that occurs. TBD.

Okay, so my wife and I are probably the only people with a steam oven in a Lance truck camper. But we ripped out the nuke, and built this in. We're both major cooks and if you love good food & cooking it, this is great. It also is wonderful because it heats up to 350 in about 2-3 minutes! Is very well insulated so can be built in. AND uses very little power. A burst at first (to hit temp), but then only uses about 200-280 watts per hour once hot. That means you can run it off an inverter or an EcoFlow Delta 1300 power pack (in my case) for hours if needed. Fantastic! No need to run the geni. at night and piss off the fellow campers. Having the ability to select upper, lower, or both heating elements is also soooo useful. The steam makes an awesome crispy French bread. And the controls are super user friendly. Which is a good thing, because the only negative is that the Manual is mediocre at best. Still, I highly recommend it!

I was going to change my old oven into this kind of combi steam convection oven quite a long time ago, I found out this new brand and wanna give it a shot, so far it's a worthy product. Pros: Steam& convection: There are several modes that I can combine with. Make it super easy to serve my family with great dishes. Thoughtful exhaust system: Works great. I can feel the steam temperature came out front is cool, which is a big advantage for steering clear of a moist and hot kitchen. If you have a wooden cabinet as I do, I guess the "Air-plus technology" will definitely help. Water tank: It is very large compared to any other counter-top steam oven, the capacity is as advertised. Structure: Very sturdy with stainless steel material, the handle is a frosted finish which is non-slip, the cabin of the oven is large enough for a whole chicken or beef ribs. Cons: Size: It is very large for a countertop oven, so carefully measure your countertop before you buy it. Touch screen: I personally prefer oven with a knob, it's easier to adjust to the temperature. Overall, I strongly recommend this product and it's totally worth the money.

I baked a chiffon cake, I had using Chiffon cake mode, it was not enough baking 30 minutes I had to add on more baking times. Update on 05/07/2020 Mine is too high temperature on right side and low temperature on left side. It’s not same baking conditions. Right side is always be burned and left side is not burned:( And When I baking a bread, it’s not burning bottoms. Because, nothing heat on bottom. Should be use regular oven when you baking bread.

Steam ovens are great. I don’t bake all that much but I’ve been using the steam function more often than I thought and I’m loving that I don’t have to drag out a separate steamer pot to use on the stove. For the 26 qt unit, you can move (not remove) the top and bottom “m” shaped heating unit in order to clean, which proved to be very helpful. The ultimate test is the steamed egg and I was able to make a beautiful silky smooth egg with ease. I also loved that I was able to steam a whole chicken with ease. Came out tender and juicy. The vent in the back was a concern since I’m using it on a rack that looks like a bookshelf and I don’t have enough clearing above the oven to use the silicone extender for exhausting in the front. However, since the back side of my shelf is opened, not closed in like a cabinet, I was able to just push the oven back a little and now the steam can vent without any obstructions. The only thing is I wished the smaller unit can also have the convection function. And I’m not used to having to adjust both the top and bottom temperature. They should also indicate how long can the steam function run before water runs out for the different temperatures in the user manual. Just some suggestions.

We use this on combi almost nightly. Everything from reheating leftovers to cooking the most tender and juicy pork loin or turkey breast ever. We found that distilled water really helps to keep the water stains away especially if you are from an area with hard water. The other trick to share is the food closest to the back wall fan when using combi or convection get done quicker than the rest of the dish so to combat this put a small amount of foil over just the back half of the dish or rotate the tray half way through thr cooking time. Oh, do white rice on the rice preset with equal parts rice and water adding salt and butter if desired. The kids now think that all meats need to be cooked in this oven because who doesn't like moist meat? Update: We use setting A1 for streaming bread and breaded items like sub sandwiches. It will even make hard dried out glutin free breads moist. We use high heat steam function for 15 minutes at the default temperature for reheating left overs. Grill for 18 minutes at the default temperature works perfectly for burgers. For rice I fill a pint jar with rice, add a pint jar of water to the rice plus ad additional cup of water. I love to do this with jasmine rice. Before cooking rice the rice 1pt, combine the rice water 1pt plus 1 cup, salt, and about six small butter pats. I use the rice setting and it turns out perfect.

I've been wanting a steam oven for years but they are expensive and many models did not fit the built-in space I had for it, and the countertop models seemed lacking in size. It didn't come with a cookbook so I relied on the other well-known steam model cookbooks and tried to figure out the temps and time from those instructions. And I was very happy! I have done vegetables with fish, with roasts, with chicken, and they all got rave reviews. I like the one-pan meals that this steam oven allows. Over the holidays we have a houseful of family and it did well for reheating meals when the microwave was being used and only a few minutes longer, but better results. And just today I got their cookbook. It's not many recipes like its competitors have but I think it will help me figure out what to do. I also have searched recipes posted on individual blogs and those have also worked out well. In general I have very very pleased with this and see it becoming a regular option in our cooking.
