Tall and sturdy
By mommakb on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2022
I read reviews like crazy before buying this, then it went on sale for $50 before Thanksgiving so we got it for a Christmas present for our son. Many reviews discussed the assembly process, and yes it does take some time to assemble. I'm not an experienced builder, but can say that with a power drill, it's way faster. The drill won't fit well into the spaces to screw in the slide areas, so those need a regular screwdriver. The slides are the hardest part of the assembly because they are a tight fit on either end once one side is screwed in. They are very secure once screwed in though. Everything else was easy to put together. The directions are only pictures and part numbers, which worked well for me but one part of the car wash looked like a solid piece in the picture, but it was actually cloth/felt pieces on a wooden part to attach to the car wash section, so that got confusing for a minute. Otherwise, they were accurate and easy to follow. This tower is tall, over 4 feet when assembled. My 3 year old can't use the top much, but can still put a car on the slide area to roll down. He used several sized cars on it, and the matchbox sizes worked best, but others also worked. The bigger they are, the more he needs to push them along on the slides, and the duplo race cars were just wishful thinking on his part. The parking garage holds a TON of cars, which will help this momma to not step on so many (hopefully!!!). Overall, i really liked this tower for my 3 1/2 year old, and the building process is time consuming but not too frustrating. It's easier than putting together a bike, in my opinion. And I'm able to work on it with him using every inch of it during the process (somehow!). I'll update with photos once everything is finished. I am still working on the accessories.

Sturdy but huge design flaw (?)
By Lisa P. on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2021
Impressive, sturdy structure. There’s a lot of pieces but easy to put together, but they are labeled well and instructions are easy to follow- it’s not a quick snap together project, so allow a couple of hours at least. There’s one major flaw that causes loss of interest fairly quickly. The cars flip over about halfway down the spiral track, thus requiring them to be turned back over manually to finish the race. Out of the hundreds of attempts, the cars have only made it to the end about 5 times without flipping. I first thought it could be where the track meets the adjoining level, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue- This happens on both sides at the same point in the track. I haven’t contacted anyone to see if there’s a remedy, but if anyone has experienced the same issue, I would sure appreciate some tips on how to correct. This would be a perfect toy and earn 5 stars across the board if this one issue could be resolved. My grandchildren from 4 y.o. To 7 y.o. enjoy it- I wish they were here to demonstrate so I could include a demonstration video with this review.
