Very pet friendly and simple to maneuver. My little girl is quite comfortable with it!

The Home Zone Pet Electric Nail Grinder really works for us! It is lightweight, simple to hang onto, easy to maneuver, relatively quiet (two speeds, slower = quieter), and much safer to use compared with nail clippers! I have used a nail grinder for many years now with all of my pets. This one is comfortably smaller than the one I've used for years, and is much easier to work around each nail without worrying that I might accidentally bring the grinder too close to the paw pad. I prefer taking the cap off so that I have better access to the actual grinder. I also start out with the slower speed first, until we settle further into the actual nail-grinding session! Also, when introducing a nail grinder to your pet, sometimes it helps just to run it so that they can hear it and get used to the sound. Then, at another session, run it again with your little sweetheart in your lap, while you are both relaxed and calm. Slowly, move the grinder while it's running close to your little one's body and, with the handle end, just give them a little massage, as if you are petting them with your hand. After a few short sessions like this, they will become used to the sound, and realize that this little humming instrument is not out to scare or hurt them. I do the relaxed massage technique every time I need to grind little sharp nails that are bound to get too long from time to time. My little girl just lays on her back in my lap, relaxes, and we have a little bonding session while taking care of business! Ultimately, I'm very impressed with this handy cordless nail grinder! It did not take long to charge and holds the charge much longer than necessary for us to file those precious little nails! I highly recommend!

Dog trimmer

If you want to spend all day on one nail, buy it! It may work for a cat, but not for a large dog. They should advertise it for dogs under 10 pounds!
