Not your grandma's canister vacuum.

I have been looking to replace my upright vacuum for some time now. I started looking at canisters because I had thought maybe they will be lighter not only to carry but when pushing across the carpet. Getting older you must think more about these types of things. Honestly out of the box I thought, is this really going to be a good vacuum?!?! But after I put it together, which was quite easy, I got to cleaning. It ran across the carpet and wood floors with ease once I got the adjustments down, both suction and power. It is lightweight and so quiet. Bagless and the debris does not get close to the filter or wrapped up around the filter. Easy one-button push for emptying. The attachments are small, but they work. I can use those in many places. If I need a little extra reach to the ceilings, I can sit this on a piece of furniture and do not have to worry as much about it falling over like an upright vacuum. The buttons to turn it in and off and rewind the cord are huge and easy to use. I love the auto rewind feature. The filters, it has filters for days. All HEPA and washable. Another neat feature is the "parking slot" for the extension wand. All the old canister vacuums I remember, you had to deal with trying to keep that part of the vacuum stood up in a corner or laid on the floor. This is a great addition to the 3-in-1 stick vacuum I just bought. This vac for deeper cleaning and the other for quick jobs.

pain in the butt

the "wheels" don't work like they should the base falls over all the time when in use. works fairly well on hardwood floors but the "wheels" on the head collect dirt and hair on them and they stop rolling. the canister blocks up in the center so it doesn't collect in the bottom like it should you have to go over the same place multiple times just to get hair off hard wood floors. when put on high power it pops a 30 amp breaker after 2-3 mins, check the motor and it's hot enough to melt the plastic around it. I have cleaned this thing out and washed the filters still same thing it over heats. not only would I not recommend this but I would tell people to spend the money on a bissell.
