I have been using it for a while now and it works exactly as I hoped. It is a great grinder that fits like the original one without breaking the bank. It is not made of stainless steel but still made of good materials and it creates the perfect grind It works perfectly every time and is very easy to clean. It is easy to assemble.

This product is not compatible with the way most people clean cooking utensils - a dishwasher

Who would think a product that arrives all pristine and appearing like stainless steel is, in fact, made of some alien material that doesn’t survive even a quick wash in the dishwasher? I admit I didn’t notice the one sentence in their description which says, “This meat grinder is not dishwasher safe …..”, - see if you can find it! When I first pulled this product out of the dishwasher I didn’t notice the black tarnish that covered my hands. I was puzzling over how the shiny steel looking surface could have transformed into a black dirty mess when I realized my hands were covered with a substance than soiled anything I touched. I absolutely cannot recommend this meat grinder, - caveat emptor. This is the worst thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon and that puts it somewhere in the 1 in a 1000 range.
