The blender part with the motor still works, but the food processing part quit on the third time I used it. Everything fits together, but something in the lid of the processor, perhaps a gear, has failed and nothing inside the processor bowl turns. It is not possible to open the lid and see what went wrong. If all you want is an immersion blender, you can get a good one for much less than this one. I really had high hopes for this appliance. It's actually a good idea, but I wish it wasn't so poorly made. For the price it is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Oh, and if you get the Asurion warranty, they don't give you the replacement price, just your purchase price which keeps on going up. They don't accept email either.
