A Good and Silent Robot Vacuum

This is my second robot vacuum I bought. I really feel that a robot vacuum is a very good investment as it significantly save your time and energy, and can keep you house clean everyday. My first vacuum is broken as I haven't used it for over a year due to the pandemic lockdown. It was too loud to tolorate. Now it's almost a year for remote working and my room is significantly dirtier than it was before. Then I though I should hunt for a better robot vacuum. It has been delivered for about a week now and I had used it for about three days. So far there is no major complaints. This one have much more suction power than my previous one, and it is considerable quiter. It is very capable and have cleaned all my hairs and dust on the floor and sofa. It also have a clean looking app for controlling your vacuum. It is quite useful as you can set a virtual wall to prevent it hitting your fragile equipments or sucking in all your cables under your TV. There is also a mopping functionality but I haven't tried it yet. Though the app does show some fine controls on the mopping functionality that looked promising, such as controling the water flow. I may want to try it at a later time, but for now it does satisfy all my needs very well.

It works until it doesn't

When it works, this robot vac is fine. But it periodically just 'loses' the map or gets confused on where the dock is, and you get to start ALL OVER. This is a huge pain if you have a home of any size. It takes it two runs (battery doesn't last long enough to get it done in one) to remap my house. Then I add in the no go zones and virtual walls. So you think you're all set and fixed the issue. And then, for no reason, a few weeks later, the vacuum gets lost again and you realize the map is all messed up AGAIN. I've had this for about 10 months and this has happened at least 5 times for no discernible reason. e.g., It works great, it finishes, it docks. And a day or two later when I try to use it again, the map is messed up. Customer service is nonexistent.
