We've been using the Bluicer Pro for 7 months now - mostly for making smoothies and general blender tasks - nothing too challenging. While it is quick and able in this regard, there are a few annoyances. Most worrisome is the electrical smell it emits in less than a minute of continuous blending, even at medium power. The motor and gearing are such that there is no smooth start: even at the lowest of ten power settings, the contents always splash up to the lid and the side spout. The spout seems like it might be handy to pour out the liquid contents, but in practice, it drips so much that it's a messy option and you'll probably end up carefully pouring the blended contents out the side rim between the handle and spout. The outside of the blender jar is deeply grooved on all four sides, and three of these grooves are perfectly located to catch the drips of your smoothie. The side grooves are vented so will channel the drips into the blender's gear chamber. Cleaning the jar, lid, and unit, thus becomes a bit of a chore and the automatic cleaning program is a bit of a joke, barely helping with the jar but not the inside of the jar spout, base, or complex lid. Because the program is a minute long, it never fails to emit that electrical smell. A soft bristled bottle brush, used on the jar immediately after blending, and a sponge for the base if necessary, is the way to go. We can't review the juicing function, as we haven't used it yet.
