A Beautiful piece of furnitre

I have been looking around for some time for just the right sized tv stand that would also house my speakers. I wanted a low profile instead of the taller cabinets and also longer than average to put the tv and receiver and dvd player on without them looking scrunched together. My bass speaker is about 14 inch square so it wouldn't fit in most of the other stands that had doors and or fixed shelves. This entertainment center by Vasagle is a perfect fit. And, I got it at I think a 20% discount for $112.00. I wasn't sure about something like this for that price since most sturdy entertainment centers are several hundred dollars, have doors and not wide or deep enough shelves. But, I took a chance and my husband and I are very pleased with this unit. It was easy to assemble and has metal reinforcements making it very sturdy. The finish and color on it is perfect for what we wanted, a dark walnut. It looks rich and the adjustable shelves made it easy to place the center and bass speakers in the unit. The backboard is not cardboard but a veneer-like material that makes this unit even more appealing. All in all, if you're looking for a low profile tv entertainment center, might want to get this one. I looks great and is built very well.

I have some complaints

So overall I don't hate it, but it's not as nice as the coffee table, which we also bought. The coffee table had rubber bumpers and the mesh, though smaller, is sturdy and doesn't bend. In the TV stand however, the mesh reeeally bends in the middle. We only have a switch, PS4 and Xbox 360 on it and it has such an obvious bend that I repurposed some of the packaging to support it in the middle. Those three things aren't 20 pounds combined, so I'm a little annoyed that it doesn't hold them without bending. Additionally while building it, I bumped two of the shelves against each other and one of them got dented. So it's pretty fragile. Finally, the packaging was ripped and the bumpers were a lot cheaper (thin plastic) than the ones packaged with the coffee table (round rubber). I wish there was an add on or something to bring the height up a bit as well. It's pretty short. Overall not sure of I would have picked this knowing what I know now. But it matches the other things we have so it will stay for a while.
