Lasts for years and saves a ton of plastic
By Don on Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2025
I've had the first one of these since maybe 2016 and I can't tell the difference between that one and the ones I bought recently. They all work great and have helped us save probably hundreds of plastic bags by now. We have this size, the 28oz, and the 104oz and they all work great. I've filled them with water and then pressed down as hard as I could and the seal held, even after many uses. The hardest part of these is drying but we found a bottle dryer works if you straddle a few mounts to hold the bag open and upside down.

Don't use with sous vide, get a vacuum bag pack for that; Use for Cold, dry goods only
By Gentleman Fox on Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2018
I've Sous Vide-ed more than 10 times now. Meat, veggies, fruit, and lots of Experience with Sous Vide Cooking: 7/10 Sometimes the smells hold in, and that really irks me, but apparently the food doesn't taste like the previous. The thing that bothers me most is how annoying it is to HAND wash this thing. It's a little bit of a fight to flip it inside-out and and grab and clean the corners and seams of the silicon. Elements tend to like staying in the seam, which is terribly gross and unhealthy. I wash them at least twice after I put a hot juicy meal in these. Experience with Cold Food: 8/10 Great. Easy, No complaints if it's dry goods. Does okay with juicy wet food--not as pleasant an experience as with dry food. Design: 8/10 Decent. Stuff gets stuck in the crevices of the bag and that's a pain to clean as well as unhealthy. Oily foods and fats also make it a pain to clean. Not exactly happy with these, but a price to pay for re-usable bags. If I could do it all again, I wouldn't buy so damned many of these. I would try 2 at most and see if I like it. As it turns out, I sous vide a lot, but not nearly enough to warrant these bags. Also, as a busy, moving adult, I don't have the luxury of time to take care of these bags. If I'm going to enjoy the luxury that is sous-vide-ing food, I'm going to save time where ever I can. Final thoughts: I don't recommend you get these. Get a vacuum sealer and bagger, get a large bag set. Go ham on anything and everything you can sous-vide.
