As long as you season this regularly and keep it clean it will be your dream come true. This is thick and heavy but I've successfully made soups in the oven, fried meats and made casseroles, Roasts in the oven, this is just a must-have in the kitchen. The quality is great.

I never use cast iron before. Now I know why it's so popular. It's unbelievably solid heats very evenly works exactly like it says it will. It's one extremely solid piece that's never going to fall apart. It takes a little a bit of time to heat up for what she does. It holds heat for extended period of time. Everything comes out of it tastes like it's completely cooked.
