Excellent Unit

There is not a thing i do not like about this except one thing. It looks nice . It is very quiet, only thing I dont like is not being able to shut the knob light off in the evening. I keep it going at night in my room and light is not acceptable. Ill cover it for the mean time. I have read other reviews and there is NO Odor whatsover that comes from this unit. Another commented about it falls apart when you pick the unit up to move it. Well, it is in 2 sections and you can Clearly see and ascertain that the unit when moving it, needs to be picked up by the bottom base and only the bottom base. No problem whatsover!!! I have not experienced any leakage so far and if i do i will be back to amend this review. But as it stands right now, this is a wonderful unit that puts out A LOT of mist. It does have a knob on it to turn on and go to maximum, however it doesnt really stop the flow of the mist, it seems to always be in maximum!! Which is fine with me. I am really looking forward to using essential oils with this. This unit is definately worth what i paid for it and would purchase it again . And NO i was not paid for this review. I don't play that game ~

Leaks after 1 month daily usage

I bought this back in 2021 but didn’t end up needing it much. For some reason my new apartment is much drier than my old one, and so I’ve been using this nearly continuously for about a month now. About a week ago, it started leaking profusely from the seam where the base connects to the tank if I filled it above about 1/5 of the way full (in the main tank, so the base is full of water too). I cleaned it to see if that would help, and it didn’t. Also, now it’ll stop working if it starts leaking. I noticed it will start whining a bit and the mist will start sputtering and making and put-put-put sound, and the mist output gets smaller and smaller as it starts leaking more, until the mist output stops completely.I’ve only ever really used it for a month. Very disappointing that it broke after so little usage.Before it broke, it was actually a decent humidifier — very quiet, easy to clean, and more importantly easy to fill. I used to have one of those teardrop shaped crane ones and it was such a pain to both clean and fill it. Now I wonder if there was a reason for the pain — that one at least never leaked.The mist output was actually more than I needed in my old apartment, even at the lowest level, so that was kind of annoying. In my new apartment the lowest level is just fine — the mist doesn’t fall at all before dissipating.Worried that the humidifier will start leaking all over my kitchen. Big pain when it leaks too
