I am a huge fan of Laneige sleeping lip masks and have been using them for years. My lips are super dry, especially during the colder months. I was excited to try this lip treatment balm as a daytime addition to the sleep masks and it did not disappoint. My lips stay hydrated with this balm on than with most other daytime products I tried. The balm has a creamy consistency, a bit of an iridescent sheen and a pleasant coconut and fruity smell. One of my favorite parts about the balm is a built-in applicator! I strongly dislike applying lip products with my finger and the applicator is the perfect solution that is convenient and easy to keep clean.

After trying and falling in love with the sleep mask, and being a lip balm addict with constantly dry lips, I had to give this a try. The container is unique and the product itself has a pretty, iridescent shine to it in the container, but overall I am wholly unimpressed. It’s hugely overpriced for what it is, even on sale. The applicator stick is much more rigid than I’d like, so not particularly comfortable to apply, and the design makes it very unfriendly for use while driving. I keep forgetting I even have it and losing it in the bottom of my bag. The scent, to me, is pleasant and soft. The product does OK with providing some temporary moisture. But if you are expecting anything remotely close to this company’s sleep mask for lips, you are going to be as disappointed as I was.
