Commercial Cool Portable AC + Heat

I bought a Commercial Cool potable air conditioner last summer, because my first one was great, but it was old and wasn’t working properly. I live in Massachusetts, so I really only use my air conditioner for about 2 months a year. This June, I plugged in my new air conditioner, and it did not work. I called Black &Decker, the manufacturer of Commercial Cool, and they said that since it was still under warranty, they would replace it. They would send me a free return mailing receipt, and I would have to box it, and have UPS pick it up. I called Black & Decker several times, and emailed them 7 times, before I got a response. Six weeks later, they are finally going to pick it up, and they said it will be about 2 weeks before they ship a new one. It will be “the dog days of August", and I will have to go without an air conditioner for almost the entire summer. I am so disappointed in this company. Follow up: It is now August 11th, and I still don’t have my air conditioner, and I haven’t heard anything from Black & Decker.
