FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer Machine

We got this item to replace a previous model which we had used for ten years or so, but had lost is vacuum capability. We ordered this item in June 2024, and the return window closed a month or so later. We used the newer model two to three times a month. But today, January 6, 2025 just about six months of light use later, the newer model failed spectacularly, with juice spewing from the bottom of the bag, rendering it useless. A second bag showed the same result. We wish we could get another from Amazon, but it is too late. It seems like a product flaw.
