Have a fine mist sprayer
By C L. on Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2024
So first off I would totally buy this again as a drip coffee drinker. I don't know how well it would work on espresso grind but it seems very fine. Pros - easy to clean, easy to use, nice hoper size for beans, reasonable grind container Cons - oily beans suck, it builds up static very quickly How to use - So there are a couple of things to do on this. One if you have oily beans you need to push the beans down or jiggle the machine, dry beans feed in just fine. Two I highly recommend a fine mist spray bottle, spray the top of the grounds container and inside the container... If you do not do this and use it daily you will start having coffe grounds flying all over the place. Those being said it is working great. I use it 2 times a day on the 12 cup setting and a very corse grind and clean it... Every 3 ish months. Costco beans are super oily and I haven't figured out a way to get them to feed in, I even removed the guard in the hoper. But cheapy Amazon beans are dry and work great.

Messy and dead on the third use.
By Caleb B. on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2022
I've had this grinder for a couple weeks. I put my grounds into a reusable tin. First time around it worked well, however I noted it was message - not all the grounds exit the machine into the container, and the container itself doesn't make enough of a seal to prevent grinds from ending up on the outside of the container. Fortunately I have a mini vacuum which helps. The main issue, is when I went to refill my tin for the 2nd time (3rd use), it no longer worked. It tried to grind but sounded strained. So I removed the hopper and upper grinder and cleaned it. The grinds that were supposed to go into the container ended up getting packed and not falling into the container. I had to do quite a bit of finagling to get it that area cleaned out. After fully cleaning it out, I managed to get about 2oz of grinds out of it before it stopped, inspection revealed it was all packed up / clogged - again. With fine grounds, no beans or other debris, just the results that were supposed to end up in the output container. I'm not exactly sure how it's supposed to function, but I expect getting clogged like this is not supposed to happen and may be the result of a dying / burnt out motor (which sounds like it's dying, but I'm not a professional). Fortunately within the return window. I'll be paying the premium for something name brand and more reliable.
