Perfect for extra large roast

Very nice! Seems it was shipped from Manufacturer so it was very well packed with zero shipping damage. We cook a 6.5lb roast with fixings for Christmas and it was the perfect size. It is very heavy and large as expected. Consider what you want to cook and pick the appropriate size. It's easy to clean and still looks brand new. It's a USA made brand. We also have the 5qt size.

Not made in Tennessee

I'm definitely not one of those people who insist everything be made in the United States (my car and most of my appliances are a testament to that), but when I sought to buy a cast-iron enamel Dutch oven from the storied Lodge cast iron company, it was a punch to the gut to discover it had been made in another country. It is a beautiful Dutch oven, and a great price. Lodge officials say they have third-party inspectors from their company to oversee quality control. Already made some great chili in it. However, there will always be that nagging feeling that it may not be the same quality as if it was made at the company's headquarters, in this country.
