Moonsteps Take Apart Dinosaur Toys

Positives: * Looking at the package, she believes she can build it herself. * After opening, she was excited about the trees. * She counts four dinosaurs and mentions that they kind of look like legos (she loves legos). * She likes the instructions and believes that she can only build the dinosaurs if she has instructions. * She used the instructions for the first dinosaur, but not for the remaining dinosaurs, since she already learned how to do it. * She decides to build the triceratops first and thinks that it is a "funny looking triceratops." * One of our twins also most wanted to play with the triceratops. * The other twin wanted to play with "the green one" with two horns. * She chose to build the stegosaurus second. * After finishing building all the dinosaurs, she was excited to put the trees around them. * She also wanted to put these dinosaurs together with her other dinosaurs and sort them into carnivores and herbivores. * She liked these dinosaurs "a lot" and said she would have loved them as a present. * She said to improve the toys, she would like more trees. * She most liked that these toys were easy to build and fun to play with. * She liked that there were four dinosaurs so she could share them with her sisters. Negatives: * She wasn't strong enough to finish snapping together the pieces of the body on the last step and said she needed help. * The battery-powered screwdriver slipped sometimes but she really liked using it. * Sometimes she preferred using the manual screwdriver (when putting on the legs). * She did not like that there were so many screwdrivers - she only wanted one.
