This feeder is well worth every penny I paid for it!!

I've had this feeder for about a year now. I inherited a property that came with a cat and I can't move the cat to my house. I'm only out at the inherited place 2 or 3 days per week. This feeder has been a workhorse dispensing food 3 times a day for the past year without fail. It will hold enough food for at least a week and a half at the rate I'm feeding my cat. I strap it to a shelf with a rubber strap to hold it down while under nightly attack by raccoons. Just just this week, the strap finally broke and the whole system fell to the concrete. Every piece that could come apart came apart. I just cleaned it up and put the batteries back in. This thing came right back on and worked as expected. Nothing on it was broken. This plastic is very sturdy stuff and can withstand a lot. I can't say enough good things about this feeder. The only things I'd improve are maybe the mic and speaker and the angle of the camera (basically only gets the tops of the cat's, raccoon's, possum's, etc. heads... Bluejays come out well though. 😁). The camera is fine for seeing things that are approaching the feeder (or waiting for the food to drop as in the included photo) though. For what I paid for the item and how long it's been doing the job, I cannot complain about any feature though. I would definitely buy it again if it was necessary and if it's still available.

Lots of kinks needs rethought both programming and technical

This device is very hard to set up. We have a ton of “smart home” devices and installing this device took a little bit of “jerry-rigging.” The “easy to instal” links in the app and box were not accurate. Once installed it worked for about 24hrs, and then went off line. It continued to beep with no way of silencing the alarm while trying to fix it. There is also no way to turn off the camera if you are just wanting to use it as a feeder. I have no faith that our animals will actually be fed by it.
