This thing is amazing!

I rarely write reviews on products and typically just select the stars. This product was so worth my time to write a solid review! It is long but thorough and detailed! We bought this for a road trip hoping it would be easy to travel with. It was such a great price that I was worried it would be cheaply made. I could not have been more wrong! It was so perfect! It is easy to clean, very light and compact, and is so easy to transition between coffee, tea, and K-cups to fit the tastes of my family, as well as cup sizes! It is so quick and easy to clean that we could transition between drinks with absolutely no fuss! There is nothing easier than having a coffee maker that you can use from the back seat of the car parked on the side of the road on a road trip! (We used an adapter cord to plug in the device to our cigarette lighter) Within a few moments we were drinking coffee, hot chocolate, and tea from our favorite travel cups! As another side note, it is quite durable and easy to pack back up without fear of it leaking or making a mess! (Now if only they would make a travel case for it, hint hint Chefman ;). The design is simple and sleek for those that are concerned about it being aesthetically pleasing. My mom is very petite and has arthritis in her hands and was able to use this with no trouble at all, and it was light enough for her to use without help. Even my 9 year old daughter was able to use easily (of course with supervision as the water gets quite hot!) We love this so much that we use it at home all the time, and it has replaced a certain other name brand K-cup device that took up 4 times the counter space 😉. They Do NOT Last Long!

This was my 4th Chefman coffee maker. I love how fast they brew despite the fact that they spatter coffee everywhere the way it drips down. I had to buy a new one each year as that is all they last. The last one I had lasted less than three months. Customer service was great and had me send send a video, etc. and once approved, I had to send a photo showing I cut the cord. They sent me a new one. However, in the meantime I did not want to wait for the new one so I purchased another one to use right away and when the replacement coffee maker arrived, I put it away figuring I would need it in year. WRONG! The new one I bought to use stopped working in 30 days - yes DAYS! At least I had my spare one they had sent me under the warranty for my last one. I am not wasting my time going through the hassle of taking a video, etc. (what they require for the warranty) as I do NOT want a replacement. I am so disappointed.

This heats hot coffee. Compact for counter. Long enough cord. Has warranty which is a plus. Which means they back up product!!! This is the second one we bought from Chefman exactly same one single serve not because our other one broke but because we had for several years using often. We tried another popular brand came and didn’t work returned. Try another brand it worked 4 months. Threw in garbage and finally ordered this machine again. So far been very pleased no problems. Sturdy machine too. I would recommend buying.

This is the second Chefman coffee maker I’ve had, the first one I bought at a big box membership store. These are OK and make a quick cup of coffee just two minutes but it seems that the pods are not the standard size. The reusable pods that I had bought seem just slightly too tall. I’ve tried a few. So I don’t really know what’s up with that but the reusable pods it comes with breaks a little hinge thing after a few months and I have to mess with that to get it to work. first world problem lol but anyway it makes a quick cup of coffee and it’s simple and I like that. I’m giving it 4 stars because of that. if it would just take normal every day available reusable pods, I would give it 5 stars.

I carry this machine with me on the road, in rough environments and I. I have chosen this brewer because I can fit my Thermos 16 oz travel mug (~7" tall). It is surviving over a year brewing 2-3 K-cups 5 days/week, plus a few cups during the weekends. Definitely, it is not idiot proof: there is no sensor to detect that the lid is open. Therefore, if you press the brew button without closing the lid, be prepared for a hot shower.
May break quickly!

This is the 3rd of this coffee maker I've owned. The first one lasted years and eventually the motor quit. That one was awesome. I ordered the same model (but clearly updated with the cup platform lift). I make about 3 k-cup pods a day. There's plenty of time to cool down in between brews, if that could have been part of the problem. After about a month it started making crazy noises and spitting hot water out of the top door. The only thing you can do is unplug it or wait, it eventually stops when the system finally figures out something is wrong. But it's scary the first time it happens, makes you think it's going to blow up! I bought another thinking it was just a random bad unit, but the replacement did exactly the same thing, but this time within a week! All in all, Chefman really disappoints. Instead of continuing to ride the crazy train, I got the Keurig K-mini (ugh, double the $ though), but have never looked back! The K-mini is my new best friend now, and worth every penny. I sincerely hope someone at Chefman reads this and has a meeting with their engineering and QC, because they need a pep-talk or something!

I wanted a small compact k-cup coffee maker than did not take up much room; and found this Chefman on Amazon for a good price and felt I had nothing to lose in purchasing it. Got it late evening yesterdayand this morning took me about 2 minutes to learn how to use it. It has aK-kup attachment and a basket for using bag coffee(ground of course) and that is what I tried. I used my coffee which is decafe Dunkin Donut and put about a tablesoon heaped in the permanent basket filter, added 12 ounces of water and pressed the start brewing button and used a foam 16 ounce coffee cup to make the coffee in. it took just a few mins. to make and then i added about a tablespon of heavy whipping cream and just a sprinkle of no sugar sweetner to the coffee and stirred and had a great morning cup of coffee. Like how easy it was and only hope it lasts for a good while and only time will tell that. I don't do reviews for free stuff or pay, only reviews for what i really like, I am very critical of a product if i don't like it. I am looking forward to using this coffee maker it fits the bill for me for all I wanted in such an item.

When I first received it I loved it. Worked well and it made the coffee nice and hot and fast. Well not three weeks later it stopped working and I contacted the seller Chefman. The piece of plastic that piped the hot water to the cup broke and was spraying the hot water all over instead of into the k cup. I contacted Chefman and the nice gentleman I spoke to said that he would send me an email with all the info I need to execute an exchange. Well a few days go by and no email. Contact them again and am told its past the refund period... hmmmm. Well I guess I know what brand not to buy.

First off I am not a coffee drinker, but I have become pleasantly addicted to hazelnut cappachino. The other flavors are ok, but only remind me of my hazelnut preference. But I digress. I bought one of these for company to start with about 15 years ago from one of those large box stores where you end up with too many of each item. It was only $9.99 at the time. Worked flawlessly for all those years and it just stopped heating. The price and 15 years was pretty good. So I came into Amazon to replace it & saw a tag at $39 so I looked around. Shame on me! I needed the height/clearance for my travel mug, the simplicity, K cup function, with the ground attachment if others preferred that. I bought a brand that starts with a "V" &"buyable" here on sale for 1/2 the price. Sleek & pretty it was with the features I wanted. And it worked great.....for about 10 days. Of course back it went back and home to Chefman I came, reunited and in love again !!! Good lord am I writing this....gar???? Anyway I am back buying another when I saw the new extra water container attachment. So the kitchen one now sits in the master-bath, and newer feature works well with company .....the kind that doesn't see the master-bath...ahum !!!
