IULULU 2" Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper

Just scrolling through these reviews, some say this is really soft, others say this is firm, so I didn't know what to expect. This mattress pad is much firmer than either of my others. It might be that I've had the others for a few years, but one of them doesn't get used very often and is still much softer than this one. With my old pad I could easily sleep without a pillow and this one I've found firm enough I need a pillow esp if I'm sleeping on my side. But I've got it now and can't very well return these types of things since they don't go back in the box and there is no way to know exactly how firm a foam pad will be until you actually get it on hand. You win some you lose some.
