It says it is 2 inches, the ball is one inch and the tinsel makes it two inches, the tinsel is so sparse that you can see the ball inside, I have a two inch ball covered with tinsel, that you can’t see the ball it is covering. You might like it for your cats, really nothing wrong with it, I am just trying to duplicate the one I have because I know my cats love it. The first picture is the ones I just bought from amazon, I haven’t even taken out of the bag, I compared with the second picture, which it the one I am trying to duplicate which is two inches, I compared Side by side, as you can see the difference.
