Originally got this for allergies, have noticed a difference in the morning. Had the opportunity to use it when there was a lot of smoke from a nearby fire, left to cycle through in a closed room for a bit and noticed a difference in air quality as soon as I walked in.Buttons are touch. Filter comes wrapped in plastic so make sure to remove before using machine. The timer works great if you don’t want it running all day. Has a 1, 4 and 8 hour option. There are three modes a”sleep”, “low” and a “high” mode when it’s on. When on high it’s noise level is about the same as a fan. There is a sleep mode in where it turns off the lights that surround the machine and runs really low. Regardless of power mode it has a light switch that can be used to turn the surrounding lights off/on with the only remaining light being the button to switch it back on/off. Would purchase again, also the cute blue color is pretty accurate.

Decent for the money

Keep in mind I got this on sale for about 40% off so...I think it does a good job for my bedroom, good not great. The problem with this unit is the settings, basically there is low and high no medium. Low seems too low to grab most dust dander particles, smells etc. but is very quiet almost completely inaudible with the other noise going on in the room. High seems to do the job right but it is very loud, I sleep with earplugs in normally and I can still hear the unit clearly. I like that it is small and compact but I wouldn't put this on the floor, definitely works better I'd say on a shelf or pedestal. The filters are replaceable and need to be changed every 90 days depending on use and environment, they are about 20 bucks. So not a bad product but it would totally benefit from having a Medium fan setting.
